I was born and raised in Guthrie, Oklahoma. I graduated from Guthrie High School and went on to the University of Central Oklahoma where I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development. I later pursued and received my certification in Early Childhood Education. I chose to pursue education because I believe it is a way to truly make a difference in children’s lives. As someone who loves to continue learning, my hope is that I can create a positive learning experience that will foster a love of learning in my students. I love the idea of being a part of the beginning of a student’s learning journey by teaching at the early childhood level. More specifically, I have found a new passion for teaching virtually. Virtual learning is such a unique experience that has helped me evolve as a teacher over the last two years. I have seen the benefits of the virtual learning environment for these families and I am excited to be a part of something that is making such a difference in their lives. Getting to do something I love as I stay home with my daughter is a huge blessing.
