Debra Allen
I was born in Waco, Texas. My family moved multiple times before settling in Muskogee, Oklahoma after my dad retired from the U.S. Air Force.
Ever since I can remember, I always wanted to be a teacher. Life took me in different directions before I was able to fulfill that dream. My late husband, Joe, and I raised longhorn cattle and horses. We both competed in rodeos throughout the United States and Canada. After an accident which ended my rodeo career, I attended NSU in Tahlequah where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education degree in 2001. I taught in a classroom for 15 years before joining ESVCA. I have two children, five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. I am blessed with a wonderful family and good health!
I have taught most subject areas, but my passion has always been math! I am grateful each day to have the opportunity to share my passion for math with the middle school students at ESVCA.
