Hillary Hicks

My name is Hillary Hicks and I’m excited to begin my 10th year of teaching. This year, I’ll be teaching 7th grade Math, Pre-Algebra, and Algebra 1. I’m passionate about helping students build confidence in math and discover the joy of problem-solving.

Over the past decade, I’ve had the opportunity to teach in both traditional and virtual classrooms—including five years of virtual teaching experience. Through that, I’ve seen how virtual learning can foster independence, encourage self-paced progress, and provide unique opportunities for personalized support and connection.

I’m originally from Wichita, Kansas, but I’ve called Oklahoma home for the past eight years. My husband and I have two beautiful daughters who are 4 and 2 years old. Being a mama has brought me the greatest joy! I also enjoy reading, I plan to read 40 book this year.
