Tasha Dougherty

My name is Tasha Dougherty. I am a special education teacher for ESchool Virtual Charter Academy. This is my twelfth year teaching special education, and my third year in a virtual setting. I received my special education certificate in 2003 from the University of Central Oklahoma. I am married with four boys, so teaching virtually gives me the ability to teach, as well as be home with my boys to guide them with their education as well. My favorite part about working with students is seeing their eyes light up with they understand a concept they have been struggling with. I hope for them to grow in confidence as well as academics.
