Debbie Allen
I was born in Waco, Texas. My dad served in the U.S. Air Force, so we moved several times before he retired and we settled in Muskogee, Oklahoma.
Ever since I can remember, I always wanted to be a teacher. Life took me in different directions before I was able to fulfill that dream. My late husband and I raised longhorn cattle and horses. We both competed in rodeos throughout the United States and I competed in Canada a couple of times. After an accident which ended my rodeo career, I attended Northeastern State University in Tahlequah where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education degree in 2001. I taught in a classroom for 15 years and then took a couple of years away from teaching after losing Joe. I have two adult children, five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. I am blessed with a wonderful family and good health!
I have taught most subject areas, but my passion has always been math! I am grateful each day to have the opportunity to share my passion for math and to help build a math foundation for the middle school students at ESVCA.
